City Market Food Tour
Built in 1886, the City Market is the last remaining public market house in Indianapolis.

As part of the flourishing east side of downtown Indianapolis, it served the community as the best source for fresh meat, fish, poultry, produce, dairy and baked goods.
Its grand, yet detailed design stood tall as one of the country's iconic public markets.
The City Market yielded the start of life in America and Indianapolis for many families, as Immigrants new to the area started businesses and restaurants inside the market providing dining options and distinctive regional flavors.
The City Market Food Tour will explore the history and architecture of the building and the hard working tenants, while simultaneously letting you try a variety of food from many of the stalls.
The City Market Food Tour is available for both individual signups online, or private groups of 4 or more. Tickets start at 29 dollars a person for a 2 hour guided Food Tour through the City Market.
Private group and corporate events are available using the city market, the upstairs taphouse, or both. Teambuilding events can be held in the City Market as well.
